A Well Though Out Story With Great Art

Bonny Buccaneers Vol 1 Chapter 1 is a great pilot chapter, and show a lot of potential. I could really see this turning into a big franchise. It is very well thought out, organized and well produced. Below are my individual ratings for the different aspects of this pilot.
Story - 4.5
Though it may seem similar to other comics plot lines, it actually varies enough to be very different, standalone and interesting. A young girl who ends up becoming a pirate, different from what most people are used too. Also, the plot itself is well developed and easy to follow, but still complex/
Writing - 5
The writing for the dialogue is crafted beautifully, and mixed comedy with character development. I already care about the character, and I've only read one chapter.
Artwork - 5
Another one of the strongest points of this comic is the artwork. It is very detailed and clean. The artist obviously spent a lot of time on all of the artwork, and it is beautifully drawn.

Again, overall this is a very well crafted comic, and I know I would buy it if it were to come out as a published book.

One of the best comics I've read lately. It has a well thought out story, interesting, lovable characters, great character development, and superb artwork.
