actually you can get the books cheaper than usual on amazon.com. but be careful who you buy from because sometimes the books are damaged. i have vol.2 and 3 and i ordered 1 through a bookstore. sometiems you can order through the used book store without the book being lyk 70 dollars. i got mines for lyk 30 and 20 and 15 which was the regular price when it was on sale. how ever now that i think about it inever saw it in stores when i was younger. i take it it must have come out a long time ago.

Yes, please do. I didn't buy this title when it first came out, and then I saw a boxset that was supposed to be released containing all four volumes., I was so excited. However, it was never made and now the books are crazy expensive. @_@ PLEASE re-release Clover!!

Please re-release this manga. :( It is RIDICULOUSLY hard to find, and the only copies that have surfaced are usually damaged and selling for OVER $70 for just the damaged copies. It was said you were considering continuing the release of the series, please do!

As the CLOVER saga concludes, we flashback to reveal Gingetsu's first meeting with the Three-Leaf Clover, Ran. Like Sue, Ran was imprisoned for the good of society. But Ran yearned to live a life that was more like a human and less like a lab rat, and broke free. Now, Gingetsu is ordered to track him down and bring him back to the laboratory. It's a mission he doesn't want to take on, but (as everyone knows) the Wizards never give anyone the option to refuse!

Sue
She is one of a special breed of humans called Clovers. Among them, there are several levels of Clovers - a three-leaf Clover was thought to be the strongest. But Sue is unique even among other Clovers and is considered the first four-leaf clover. A resident of Fairy Park, she and Kazuhiko begin to search for the origin of her powers, the forces trying to kill them, and what the intentions of the Parliament are for her as they seek to cultivate her powers.

Kazuhiko
A former secret agent, Kazuhiko has gone to work in the private sector before being asked to take one final clandestine mission for the government. Kazuhiko is to take a package, which turns out to be Sue, to Fairy Park. But as he learns more about her and her connections to his past and his long-lost wife, he begins to wonder why he in particular, a soldier in retirement, was chosen for this mission.

Oruha
Friend of Sue and lover to Kazuhiko. Her music connected her with Sue and she became Sue's only friend.

Gingetsu
High officer of the secret color army. Silent and dutiful, he helps Kazuhiko on his mission. Nothing much is known about him.

Ran
A three-leaf Clover who yearned to live a life that was more like a human and less like a test specimen. He breaks free from the laboratory.

What is 'CLAMP'?

CLAMP is the four-woman manga studio that creates the world's most popular manga. For the past 15 years they have worked non-stop, creating everything from the adorable shojo (girls comic) hit Cardcaptor Sakura, to the dark and brooding Tokyo Babylon, to the sci-fi romantic comedy Chobits. Currently they are working on four series: Legal Drug, X, Tsubasa: Resevoir Chronicle and xxxHolic. The group also has a close relationship with anime studio Madhouse, which has adapted most of CLAMP's manga into equally successful anime.

2004 marks the team's 15th anniversary, and to celebrate they are working on a retrospective collection called CLAMP no Kiseki, available from TOKYOPOP in 2005.
