Rath
Dragon Knight of Fire, he is also a Yokai, the race of humanoid demons that lord over the beasts, but keeps that identity shrouded in mystery so that his motives and loyalties are never entirely clear. Ironically, he has an insatiable desire to hunt demons.
Rune
An elf of the Faerie world who sacrificed his Faerie powers to accept his role as Dragon Knight of Water. Although he loyally serves the Dragon Lord, he longs to return to his Faerie brethren and the life of a healer rather than a destroyer.
Thatz
A human thief who became the Dragon Knight of Earth when he tried to rob the Dragon Lord's castle and was inadvertently chosen by the Earth Dragon to be its master. His loyalty has always been to cash, food, and the acquisition of treasures. But he's learning how to live up to his duties as a Dragon Knight.
Lykouleon
The Dragon Lord who must manage the defense of the peaceful lands against the oncoming demon forces by navigating the political minefield that Dusis has become. He is not opposed to thwarting his rank and station by diving into the thick of the action, much to the chagrin of his advisory council, all of whom would rather he stay safe within the magically fortified walls of the Dragon Castle.
Nadil
The leader of the demon forces. He was decapitated by Lord Lykouleon in a battle years ago. His head, now safeguarded in the Dragon Castle, is highly coveted by the creatures of the Demon Realm, who long to resurrect their fallen commander. In order to do this, however, they much first retrieve Nadil's head.
Mineko Ohkami
Mineko Ohkami is the creator of several shonen manga including Gekka Kajin (Lumen Lunae), a dark tale of modern fantasy where no one is what he or she seems, and Asuka2, a drunken comedy about two superheroes with the same name. Densetsu No Kokuou Wo Sagase in 1989 was her debut on the manga scene.
Incorporating street style and contemporary humor into a magical setting, Dragon Knights has spanned 17 volumes of manga and 10 years of publication in Japan.

I wish there was going to be an anime. And the last book would have to like 3 inches thick to end all the stories in the series....

Volume 26 is the very last volume. T.T It comes out in... June, I believe. There are a lot of unanswered questions, but I feel it had a nice ending. It just felt a little rushed. (But I don't want it to end, it's my favorite series!) And to Michikochan- sadly, there will never be a Dragon Knights anime, Mineko Ohkami herself said so.

You know what they should really do. When they finish the series, they should turn this into an anime. So long as they keep everything in it, and make sure the voices are good, then it'll be a hit. Although, if they dubbed it into English, it would probably be ruined. But, they should still definitely make this into an anime.

26 is supposed to be coming out next month... but I haven't seen any confirmation of that... And I wish they would release Lumen Lunae as well>.< I know so many people who would buy that... *hinthint**nudgenudge* Please Tokyopop?

i love dragon knights!!!!i wonder what happens in the end i wish it didnt have to end but i and so happy that the last volume is soming out!!!! i so want to see what happens!!! if someone gets their hands on it when it comes out and tell me cause i probably wouldnt have time to read it yet i am so syched! (i dont even think that's how u spell it...) someone tell me what happens and if other people see this tell me what u think is going to happen in the end make a prediction!!!

YAY so it countinues with vol. 25itz going 2 end soon*crys*it is a good serise so its still going 2 b my fav. manga serise of all time.i wish tokyopop can do Lumen Lunae though.I've read bits and parts of(Lumen Lunae) and itz a good read 2 the hard-core/fantasy/twisted peaple who like 2 read that stuff.
