Its a touching story and funny too

When Keitaro Urashima fails his entrance exams to get into Tokyo University for the second time, he's officially an unemployed and uneducated slacker. To make matters worse, his parents have kicked him out of his house. Fortunately, his grandmother owns the fabulous Hinata Lodge and has agreed to take Keitaro in as caretaker. What he doesn't know is that the lodge is actually a girls dorm and he's the only guy around! Most guys would kill to live with five sexy ladies, but if Keitaro's not careful, this job will kill him.
Keitaro Urashima
The landlord of the Hinata House. Actually, he is a landlord-in-training. He's Ronin - studying to get into Tokyo University. 19-years old. A nice guy, but sort of a loser. Never had a girlfriend before.
Naru Narusegawa
Boards at the Hinata house (Room 304). Goes to the same cram school as Keitaro. 17-years old and third year high school student. Really intelligent.
Mitsune Konno
Boards at the Hinata House. (Room 205) 20 years old. Likes to tease Keitaro.
Motoko Aoyama
Boards at the Hinata House (Room 302). She once thought she was in love with Keitaro, but it turned out to be somewhat of a love/hate relationship. She is a very athletic 15 year-old who practices kendo.
Shinobu Maehara
Boards at the Hinata House (Room 201). She left home because it was painful when her parents were going through a divorce. She is a very shy 12-year old seventh-grader. The tenants try to protect her from Keitaro.
Suu Kaolla

Love Hina - which won a prestigious Kodansha Manga of the Year award for its creator - is Akamatsu Ken's 2nd major manga series. His earlier AI Ga Tomaranai - a sort of cyber love comedy - ran for 8 volumes in the early-to-mid-90's. Probably one of the most overrated mangas of all time but it is a decent read if you don't mind the harem theme.

I'm a die hard Love Hina fan. The Manga is better than the Anime, but they it's awesome, as are the books. I highly recommend this to anyone who loves Romance and comedy, as well as to those who enjoy shojen and fighting books: You have to Love Love Hina. No matter what you're into, any Manga type, this one will honestly hit your top ten. Garuntte. Read the whole sieries, and you'll never look back. I loved books with vampires, people dieing - But after Love Hina, I never went back. It was so incredibly funny and amusing that it was impossible to put it down. Please give it a try, you'll like it! Love it! That's got to be a garuntee!

Im the biggest fan of love hina but i hate the Anime of it, the mangas are WAYYY better. Its the first manga i EVER read and i have them all, even the Novels, posters, and some anime. now im addicted to manga. Its Hot, sexy, funny, sad, happy, realistic yet non realisic, scary, straight, lesbian, cute, romantic, action, fighting, and in the end you feel like its starting again.

lol the first volume i got WAS the 3rd one. lol. my mom wont let me get the first one because theres girl with bikini's on it i really want it though! it was the last one at borders! i was really mad but anways its a great manga!

Tokyopop made some mistakes when publishing this manga's vol 3.. The page numbers were wrong, for example, the page number was 111, and the number after the next page was 103.. there were LOTS of other page numbering errors in that vol, well.. Atleast everything else was OK..

I've seen all the eps of the anime and started reading the manga. Right now I have bought the first 2 volumes, and it's pretty funny XD The mangas were a lil "screwed" tho.. I think someone read them in the shop -_-'' darn you, who did it..

I LOVE Love Hina! I've just finished rereading it (again), and it's still as hilarious as it was when I first read through them. Ken Akamatsu is awesome, I liike his series Negima, and A.I. Love You is okay, but Love Hina is the best. One of my all time favorite mangas, check it out if you haven't yet!
