Tai's recklessness has finally gone too far, and Agumon -- as well as all the Digidestined and their Digimon -- find themselves in terrible danger. Now the children must train with the wise Digimon Piximon to help Tai, all while searching for the remaining crests and avoiding Etemon's far-reaching networks. When Tai is suddenly and mysteriously sent back to Earth, a host of new problems begin to appear: the vampire Digimon Myotismon surfaces, evil Digimon start passing into the real world, and the team discovers a new Digidestined kid is somewhere on Earth! As the children fiercely battle to protect their world, their search for the eighth Digidestined begins!

Tai (Taichi Kamiya)
Adventurous, athletic, a born leader. Tai is usually the first to spring into action. He has a very aggressive personality, which usually puts him directly in the path of danger. Tai also realizes that a true leader helps with morale, too, and he goes out of his way to make sure his teammates are ok. He's 11 years old. His Digimon is Koromon (who digivolves to Agumon, Greymon, Metalgreymon and Wargreymon).

Izzy (Izumi Koushiro)
The ultimate computer genius, precocious and very intelligent. He has a theory for every problem and an answer for every question, but he is far too preoccupied with his own thoughts to even notice the danger around him. He's 10 years old. His Digimon is Motimon (who digivolves to Tentomon, Kabuterimon and Megakabuterimon).

Mimi (Mimi Takichawa)
You might think if Mimi as a bit ditzy, conceded and spoiled at first but that's because she's had a sheltered life. By the way, her favorite color is pink and she's 10 years old. Her Digimon is Tanemon, (who digivolves to Palmon, Togemon and Lillymon).

Sora (Sora Takenouchi)
Very mature and sensible, Sora is the main voice of reason in the group. She feels very responsible for the safety of the others and some time she puts too much pressure on herself. She's 10 years old. Her Digimon is Yokomon, (who digivolves to Biyomon, Birdramon and Garudamon).

Matt (Yamato Ishida)
He's the coolest guy in the group and acts like a loner, but his sensitive side comes out when dealing with his little brother T.K. He doesn't like to be told what to do and is considered the rebel of the bunch. He's 11 years old. His Digimon is Tsunomon (who digivolves to Gabumon, Garurumon, Weregarurumon and Metalgarurumon).

TK (Takeru Takiashi)
T.K. is the 8-year-old little brother of Matt. Despite his young age, he will do anything to be strong around his brother. He is innocent, sweet, kind and responsible. His Digimon is Tokomon (who digivolves to Patamon, Angemon and MangaAngemon).

Joe (Joe Kido)
If there's one thing for sure about 12-year-old Joe, the oldest of the Digi-destined, it's that he would rather be somewhere else other than the Digiworld. He spends most of his time complaining about their predicament and he's easily frightened. His Digimon is Pitchmon (who digivolves to Bukamon, Gomamon, Ikkakumon and Zudomon).

Kari (Hikari Kamiya)
Kari is Tai's sister. She is 8 years old. She's a strong, sweet and likable character. Her Digimon is Nyaromon (who digivolves to Salomon, Gatomon and Angewoman).
