A trio of pre-teen sleuths made up of: 6'th grader Nokoru Imonoyama-- Student Body president-- his family built the CLAMP school and he's the top student in his school. He has the superhuman ability to detect a woman crying from 2 km away!; Suoh Takamura- 5'th Grader --Student Body Secretary-- A master martial artist with 3rd degree blackbelts in Judo, Aikido, Karate, and Kendo.; 4'th grader Akira Ijyuin -- A master thief, also known as the Man of 20 Faces. He's popular with the ladies, and is currently dating the president of the Kindergarten. Together they are the Clamp School detectives and they help girls in distress around the campus

Nokoru Imonoyama
A 6th grader and Elementary School Board Chairman, Nokoru is also the youngest son of the Clamp School's founders -- the Imonoyama zaibatsu. An uber-genius, he not only has the top IQ of any student in a school of geniuses, he's also smarter than any of the teachers. He has the unique ability to detect a woman in distress from 2 kilometers away, and so, in order to help those ladies, he created the Clamp School Detective agency with two of his most gifted peers.

Suoh Takamura
A 5th grader and Elementary School Board Secretary, Suoh is a martial arts prodigy, with a 3rd degree black belt in Judo, Aikido, Karate and Kendo. (He would have gone higher, but he ran out of competition). He is also trained in various guerilla combat tactics.

Akira Ijyuin
A 4th grader and Elementary School Board Treasurer, Akira has a double life as the notorious thief 20-Faces. He's a bit naive compared to the other two members of the group, but his positive spirit and determination make him a valuable team player. He's also a remarkable chef. He's currently 'going steady' with the chairman of the kindergarten class.

What is 'CLAMP'?

CLAMP is the four-woman manga studio that creates the world's most popular manga. For the past 15 years they have worked non-stop, creating everything from the adorable shojo (girls comic) hit Cardcaptor Sakura, to the dark and brooding Tokyo Babylon, to the sci-fi romantic comedy Chobits. Currently they are working on four series: Legal Drug, X, Tsubasa: Resevoir Chronicle and xxxHolic. The group also has a close relationship with anime studio Madhouse, which has adapted most of CLAMP's manga into equally successful anime.

2004 marks the team's 15th anniversary, and to celebrate they are working on a retrospective collection called CLAMP no Kiseki, available from TOKYOPOP in 2005.
