      OUT OF PRINT

Although Mink and Minkle are keeping busy with their concert tour, they are still working to stay one step ahead of cyber-freak Kyo. Kyo continues to wreak havoc in the present by releasing WANNA-BE 2.0, which proves that not all upgrades are a good thing. Later, Mink learns backstage that not all groupies are who they appear to be!

Mink
A girl who dreams of becoming a star. She finds software from the future and uses it to program an 'idol' version of herself ... but it's illegal! Loves Motoharu.

Motoharu
A boy who loves Mink, and who works for a music company (talent agency) with his father. His father is sorta clueless, so he's running things solo, and he needs to find the next big star to keep the company afloat. Mink's manager.

Azumi
A girl who is already a star. She is Mink's rival and doesn't like her because Mink takes attention away from her.

Illiya
A boy who loves Mink. He heard Mink sing and wants to produce her (he's already ultra-famous).

Megumi Tachikawa
Megumi Tachikawa's most famous work is Saint Tail. It was published in Kodansha's Nakayoshi from 1995 to 1997 in seven volumes. It also spawned a television series that aired from 1995 to 1997 in 43 episodes and is currently in release in the US by TOKYOPOP Inc. Tachikawa made her debut in 1992 with Tiara of the 16-Year-Old in Nakayoshi Deluxe.

Mink - published in Japan as Cyber Idol Mink - began its run in Nakayoshi magazine in 1999.
