Ami Won’s late mother always told her to grow up to be an exemplary woman. And the chance presents itself now that her dad has been elected President of Korea. Thus begins this klutzy girl’s transformation into the girl her mother had always hoped she’d become. However, in the spotlight and imbued with a kind of social power she never expected, Ami is now beset on all sides by the jealous and dismayed. Her cousin Bi-Na leads this parade. Bi-Na considers herself naturally charismatic and infinitely more charming, so she feels she deserves the role as Korea’s First Lady.

Birthday: April 9, 1976

Family: My parents and a younger brother who purrs like a kitten when stroked under the chin.

Education: Jeong Art Academy--Jamsil Elementary--Goil Elementary--Jamsil Elementary (again)--Jeongsin Girls' Jr. High--Yeongpa Girls' High--Sookmyung Women's University (Dropped out after 2 years as English major)

- 5th grade, decided to become a character designer for animation after reading the Gundam Z series.

- 1st year Jr. High, read my first soonjeong (shojo) manhwa and decided to become a manhwa-ga.

- After college entrance exam, entered first manhwa (...can't even remember the title now) in a contest. Rejected, of course. Entered in the same contest for a few years after that as tradition.

-Created an amateur manhwa club called "Rak" while in college.

-Became Seung-Hee Uhm's assistant and gained valuable experience (along with weight...T_T  She cooks so well...)

-August, 1998 (around the time Star Wars Episode 1 was opening in Korea), debuted with the short "Confessions of a Certain Irrational Government Official" in "Issue" magazine.

-October of 1999, my club's first book ever, This is Cherrywood, was published.

-March, 2002, Confessions of a Certain Irrational Government Official (anthology) was published.

-2000~2001 Devil's Bride serialized in Issue Magazine.

-2002, Girl’s Educational Charter (called President Dad in English versions) serialized in "Issue."

-November, 2004, Ciel: the Last Autumn Story serialized in "Issue." Ongoing.
