Like Father, Like Daughter!
Dabin Choi is the daughter of Seoul's most powerful crime boss, and daddy's little girl has the hots for Eugene, the son of one of her father's 'friends.'
There's just one problem: Eugene isn't into Dabin. In fact, he thinks of her more like a little sister. (The kiss of death!) To make matters worse, Dabin's new classmate is none other than the son of her father's long-time rival. Soon, everyone at school begins playing power games that would make their fathers proud!
Sun Hee Lee's Neck and Neck reads like a Sopranos-in-high-school dramedy romp.
Dabin Choi
Our heroine. Dabin is spirited, perky and awkward. She struggles with her grades, argues with her father, flirts with the boys at her school. She's very much a typical 14-year-old, with one major exception: Dabin's father runs one of the most powerful organized crime cartels in Korea.

Eugene Sung
The son of Mr. Choi's friend, who helps out with Mr. Choi's business endeavors, is also Dabin's long-time unrequited love interest. Dabin transfers to Eugene's high school just to better woo Eugene. Unfortunately, ugene isn't into Dabin. In fact, he thinks of her more like a little sister. (The kiss of death!)
Shihu Myoung
Dabin's new classmate, the son of her father's long-time rival, Bongchun Myoung. Shihu and Dabin used to play together until their fathers had a falling out. Now that Dabin and Shihu are in the same class, they start playing power games just like their fathers.
