The search for the Essential Arts of Peace is a dangerous and deadly affair. Betrayal upon betrayal surrounds Qwan; Daki, sent by Yuushi to stop Qwan, has agreed to lead him to the sutra. Yuushi, who also wants the sutra, is furious and drives Daki's mother to ambush Qwan! Can Qwan get to the Essential Arts of Peace in time?

Aki Shimizu
Aki Shimizu began her career as an illustrator for magazines and a character designer for video games and it didn't take long for her to enter the manga world and succeed. Aki is known for sharp art and fast action, and was quite honored to be asked to work on a manga based on the bestselling Suikoden videogame. Aki found the story and characters to be very interesting, and knew they would make a really good manga.

Shimizu Aki's other credits include the art for the manga Bloodsucker: Legend of 'Zipangu'.
