Tsukino88. Business are not really supposed to deliver damaged goods. Is that really so hard to understand? I don't care how the packaging looks, just as long as I don't spend money on something brand new that's falling apart! And in Japan in order to get those Suppi and Kero pieces you have to send in proof of purchase for buying all twelve. If TOKYOPOP was doing that, they would have been advertising it by now.
Oh big deal if the packaging is weird now I agree with Sakurastar and Oriyn the boxes wont matter if they give us the chess box and board then you put it all in there unless you are the type of collectors that faint when something is takin out of its original packaging. but seriously TOKYOPOP Please Give Us the Kero and Suppi Pieces we need extra Kings and those pieces rock if your opponent knocks your king off the board then BAM you whip out another king and keep on playin! Its like a CLAMP Special Attack privilege.
Although I rather liked the price drop, I have to agree with SEIKAKU and CHINABAYOU, when I got this volume the edges were bent over, and the cover was ripping off. It was awful.
I got this one in the am pm contest.i also have volumes 1,2,and 5. omg,the price is only $20 now???that's good.
My apologies! I was referring to the earlier pakaging. Still, the 10 dollar price reduction is much appreciated.
I think the price drop is wonderful. If when taking the book out of the packaging, you tightly grip the book and slide it slowly out of the plastic, you will be able to get it out without any damage to it.I was worried too when I opened the package but I got out perfectly,and when done reading it was able to slip it back into its packaging.
I've waited so long for this ^^ so thank you for going through with the full 12 volumes m(_ _)m \(^o^)/ It's a little sad about he boxes but I don't mind, really. Hope that you can bring us the collection boxes for the books and the chess pieces as well as the chessboard and the Suppi and Kero-chan pieces.
Oh how exciting, I absolutely love CLAMP! I was wondering why there haven't been any released lately... I'm glad to hear it's continuing! =D
i completely agree with SEIKAKU. this new packaging totally ruins the look of my collection and the books' corners are all bent because of it. the packaging is hard plastic like the ones around electronics. but i guess this is why it is now $10 cheaper.
i wish they would sell the frikin books! not the suky magazinzes god!
This is crap, i love CLAMP and i love these Clamp no Kiseki magazines, but the new packaging is complete and utter crap, you dont get the box first of all, thanks tokyopop for making my collection look retarded, Kudos. 2nd, the magazine gets warped and bent in the tight plastic , and if thats not enough, you are gonna bend the heck out of it when you open it...So tokyopop basically made us wait for something that is of far less quality. I'd rather pay to import now.
I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw that this was coming back and with a $10 price drop as well. Thank you for not stopping halfway through this. Now I can finish my chess game.
Please take it through 12 (and as many of the extras as possible!) I can't live without the Kero-chan and Suppie-chan extra pieces, matching chessboard, book rack, and piece storage box!!!
