A manga series about twisted, obsessive love, featuring two girls in high school: One likes to dress like a boy because of an incident in her past. She has the power to control water and likes to play counselor. The other girl is her "patient." They form a bond that no one can break, even if they do appear to be outcasts in their own school ...
Originally published in Japan as Kowarehajimeta Tenshi Tachi.
Fujiwara Sunao
Uncomfortable with her feminine side, Sunao dresses as a boy and possesses the ability to control water. She is seen by her classmates as good-looking and a bit aloof, but in reality she just doesn't care about what people think of her.
Hokage Minai
The good looking guy that Sunao is staying with due to "family issues." He acts like an older brother or parent to her even though they aren't related.
Ikushima Kureha
The class president and top student, Ikushima has a passion for playing the piano. She is very flirtatious and even a bit perverted at times.
Ms. Shizuki
The weird school nurse who takes more than a passing interest in her students (particularly Sunao and Ikushima). She always manages to tag along with Sunao (even outside school) and sometimes helps out in her own unique way.
Orii Bakuto
Yuka's father and something of a confused wimp. He thinks Sunao is a lot like Yuka's mother (even when he thinks she's a guy!) and asks her for help.
Shiba
A hacker bent on proving he is better than the measly "human trash" that clutters up the world, he tries to manipulate Sunao to use her power to hurt others.
Sonoda Harumi
A talented art student who keeps a diary about how beautiful and pure he thinks Ikushima is - and how much he longs to paint her. (He's a bit surprised when he finds out she's really kind of a pervert).
Ugaki Maasa
Maasa is Sunao's "apprentice" - she worships Sunao and wants to be just like her (she also dresses as a boy for a short amount of time).
Yuka
A little girl whose mother drowned. Sunao saves her from drowning too and helps her have a better relationship with her dad.
