this manga is awesome....i dont see how it sounds like Shonen Jump when ones a big book of different mangas slammed together for the convenince of the public.....but i do like shonen jump XD "shonen jump" "yonen buzz" ok they may rhyme but that has nothing to do with anything

I know its a manga all on its own, but the name sounds like "Shonen Jump" the manga magazine published in America by VIZ.

When an indie Japanese band named Plastic Chew hits it big in Tokyo, will they really have it all? Sure, their dreams have finally come true...but with fame and fortune comes major pressure. Can they be true to their artistic vision while pleasing their management and their fans? Can their relationships with each other hold up under the mounting stress? And, most importantly, can Plastic Chew enjoy success without becoming sellouts? No matter what happens, this band keeps on rockin'...determined to not let anything derail their rock 'n' roll fantasies.

Atsushi Kato
(bass guitar) The cool-headed bandleader with long black hair & glasses.

Keigo Miyake
(drums) A fun-loving fashion victim with frizzy dark blue/violet hair.

Jun Imai
(guitar & vocals) He's an orphan—sensitive, introverted and somewhat clueless when it comes to girls.

Sayuri Tsushima
(vocals & guitar) Independent and driven, she's the only girl in the band.

Christina Plaka:
Christina Plaka was born an Aries in 1983 in Offenbach, Germany. She started drawing at the tender age of four. By the age of seven, she was able to draw recognizable renderings of popular cartoon characters. In 1994, Chris fell in love with Japanese anime and manga. Chris was discovered at a talent show at a book convention in Leipzig/Germany and published her manga Prussian Blue in Daisuki magazine. Later on, Carlson Comics published the tankobon. Prussian Blue is the prequel to Yonen Buzz. Yonen Buzz was originally published by TOKYOPOP Germany.

Do you believe Elliott Smith was a musical genius and count the Nevermind CD as one of your top-ten faves of all time? Then you'll definitely get into the groove of Yonen Buzz, a cool new manga from TOKYOPOP Germany. Christina Plaka is so amazing—and she captures that grunge, anti-establishment rocker vibe so well. The story is like a great song that you just can't get out of your head. Will the Japanese band Plastic Chew find a way to succeed without selling out? Come along with us on this rock 'n' roll odyssey to find out for yourself.
