This manga, tells a story a lot of people can relate to. Sorcerers and Secrateries can show people that there are ways to release stress besides drinking,smoking, and hooking. It shows you can relive yourself in writing.MORE
Josh Kim is a hopeless flirt fresh out of high school, working as a bookseller who wants nothing more than to earn the love of his crush, Nicole Hayes. Nicole Hayes is a business student who works part-time as a receptionist at a graphic design firm, and who wants nothing more than to write her fantasy story. Josh vows to help Nicole attain her goal by helping her get her short story published in a fantasy lit magazine, and they work together to get it in before submissions are closed. In the meantime their friends and the world around them seem to continuously get in the way of the completion of their masterpiece, and of them finding each other.
Interwoven with the story is Nicole's own fantasy, which is a direct reflection of her inner turmoil in finding her identity and her true calling in life. As they deal with the social stresses of daily living, Josh and Nicole find that love is more than just a game of flirting, and there's a struggle to have the courage to embrace their feelings honestly.
Nicole Hayes:
College student working for her business degree. Part-time receptionist.
Joshua Kim:
Fresh out of High School and has no future plans other than to make enough money so he doesn't have to live at home.
Ellon The Sorcerer:
The main character in Nicole's fantasy story.
Sonneth The Familiar:
Ellon's familiar that eats his soul.
Susan Mellen:
Nicole's co-worker, a production assistant who's studying graphic design at her university.
William Riley:

Amy Kim Ganter:
She was born in 1980 in Binghamton, NY and has been drawing all her life. Aside from her work with TOKYOPOP,
she has worked as a freelance illustrator and animator, and holds a degree in Cartooning and Illustration
from the School of Visual Arts. She also runs her online comic site, http://www.felaxx.com, where she
serializes her own fantasy story, Reman Mythology. Amy currently resides in Brooklyn, although her editor
thinks she should move to Los Angeles.
I've been a huge fan of Amy's work ever since I first saw her webcomic Reman Mythology. She's got an incredible talent for world-building and came up with a compelling romance to go alongside an epic action-fantasy story. I'm a total sap at heart, and so I'd get to points in the story and just go, "Squeee! So cute!" So when Amy wanted to pitch a series to us, it was really exciting when she came up with something that was a story that really combined her talent for writing good love stories and create a unique and beautiful fantasy world. Sorcerers and Secretaries jumps off the page (screen) at the reader from the first panel and presents a cast of characters that I'm just dying to find out more about (and as her editor, I get to find out before the rest of the world. Ha ha!). It's a joy to work on, and Amy's a joy to work with, and it's a project that I'm incredibly excited about!

I like it a lot. Im trying to find it at the book store, but whenever I go, they don't have a copy. Im ready to buy it on here. I really like it. It's nice to see more American Manga-ka. (even though i have no problem with japanese, chinese, korea, ect..) Keep up the great work. I love the story line by the way.
