I was a little skeptical at first after reading the description above it was like 'fallen in love accidentally w/ long lost stepbrother' 'having near death experience' what?!? But the first volume is REALLY good and actually does a good job in setting up the story for the other volumes, in turn which (the other volumes) does a good job in keeping up the pace of the story! Right now I'm anxiously waiting for the 5th volume! Also, artwork is fantastic for all you detailed art fanatics!
