Follow the bumpy and funny romance between bubbly Tamoko and the serious Kanji. With Kanji's father running an idol agency, and Tamoko being the daughter of their top-selling idol, Shinju, things get complicated. Tamako must hide the fact she is Shinju's daughter to save public face, but at the same time, is determined to be his ideal wife (a was promised when they were little kids). It doesn't help that Tamako's pretty clumsy and poor of domestic chores, but no matter what comes down the road, she's not about to give up!

Also author of the series, "O-mukae desu." Award-winning writer, winner of Hakusensha's Antenna Debut Excellency Award.

When your mother's the nation's top-idol, trying to stay a secret is far from easy. Especially when you've also fallen for her agent's only son! Welcome to Tamako's world of models, mayhem, and monkeys! Oh my!
This adorable bundle of energy swings from tree to tree with the greatest of ease...but when it comes to getting her crush Kanji to pay attention to her, Tamako falls flat! Kanji's got only thing on his mind--and it's not girls. Growing up to fill his father's shoes as manager of the talent agency, Kanji's a pro at finding the new talent, polishing it up, and even sewing their costumes! When he's not moussing up an idolt's hair, he's hard at work training the agent's other idols! Poor Tamako will have to grow up and shape herself in the perfect "pearl of a woman" before Kanji's ready to accept her.

Pearl Pink is delightful romp through the world of celebrity drama, innocent romance, and bellyaching comedy! Follow little Tamako has she learns, grows--and glows--in the spotlight of young love!
