The story line is cliche and to be frank, it bores me at times. (That's probably because it is set during junior high.) Readers around the age of 6th-8th grade or readers who enjoy a semi-cheesy romance would probably enjoy this manga the most. The concept of the drinks though is quite original and I got quite a kick out of Mayu transforming with every other sip of a liquid. That was probably the ultimate redeeming quality of the entire first volume. However, the art in this story is just about the cutest art I've ever seen. It nearly makes up for the lack of an engaging storyline. I'm hoping this story gets better in the future, because I'm planning on collecting it. Still, this is just my opinion (and to possess something with such cute art is a must).

A super kawaii series. The ending wasn't as good as I was hoping, but I really enjoyed this series.
I REALLY want them to get mamacolle! (pixie pop and mamacolle are done by the same person!) Pixie pop is THE BEST series ever!!!

This is FUNNY! I LOVE MAYU. I bought it at Barnes and Nobles, and it was worth buying. This was my first manga book and now I LOVE PIXIE POP!
