You're gonna love this one...Rinne is a girl who can see and exorcise ghosts (usually she does it with a paper fan). When the school punk saves her from getting hit by a truck, but ends up in a coma himself, she and his disembodied spirit must defend his prone body from being possessed by this, that and the other local spirits. Unfortunately, she fails in her task, and an ancient playboy takes over the punk’s body, leaving him to inhabit a pink stuffed monkey. Hilarity ensues. As if it hadn't already. Another great manga from the Girl Got Game creator!

No one else can see them, but Rinne can: ghosts. In school, she disrupts the classroom by leaping about, trying to chase away spirits with her harisen—a fan-like swatter. On top of that, she and Masaharu, the school misfit, are at each other's throats. During an altercation, Masaharu goes chasing after her through traffic and gets run over. The accident leaves Masaharu in a coma but his spirit free-floating. Rinne decides to help it navigate back to his body.
They soon find that Keiju, the spirit of a horny ladies' man, has taken over Masaharu's body. He agrees to return Masaharu's body back to its rightful spirit, but not till he's had his fill of sensuous pleasures. Keiju then shows up at Rinne (and Masaharu's) school. In Masaharu's body, he charms and manipulates everyone—even smooching Rinne! When Masaharu's spirit protests, the annoyed Keiju turns him into a stuffed monkey doll.
Keiju flirts with Rinne, disconcerting her. Masaharu, anxious to get his rightful body back, becomes bossier and more petulant. This becomes especially so after Masaharu finds how much happier his home life is with Keiju's spirit inside his body. What's more, Keiju charms his teacher, his fellow students at school, even the bully who once hated him. Rinne, fixated on Keiju's charms and wiles, suddenly finds him romancing all the ladies at school. She's furious and jealous, but she can't deny how attracted she is to him.
During a tiff, Keiju/Masaharu falls into a swift-flowing river. At that instant, Keiju's spirit leaps from Masaharu's lifeless body and appears before Rinne. He tells her he'll save Masaharu's body if she'll agreed to be his girlfriend. But Rinne jilts him, and jumps in herself to save Masaharu. Once rescued, they find that Mahasuru's body is dying, and the only way to revive him is for Mahasuru's spirit to get back inside his body. Mahasuru's soul and body are soon reunited after Van Damme, the dog, administers mouth to mouth (Rinne refuses!). Mahasaru comes to, grateful to get his body back. Afterwards, the horny Keiju tries to feel up Rinne, but, without a body to channel his senses, he can't feel a thing. Shocked by his rudeness, Rinne finally "harisens" Keiju back to his celestial world. But he's back to taunt and harass her before long.
Rinne and Keiju soon discover that Masaharu's become a bad-ass—a meaner, tougher version of his former self. Rinne's schoolmates--after witnessing the kissing show between Keiju/Masaharu and Rinne the previous day--think Rinne broke up with him and that's why he's back to being such a monster. They desperately try to coax her into getting back with him, for the sake of the school. Keiju appears and tells Rinne that Masaharu's spirit, since it's only just joined with his body, can be separated from it with a smack of her harisen. He tries to coax her into rejoining him with Masaharu's body. He could then be the ideal Masaharu for her--good-looking and romantic. Rinne refuses until a massive fisticuffs break out between Masaharu and his arch nemesis, Tsuboya. During the fight, Rinne manages to strike Masaharu with the harisen. His spirits leaves, leaving it vacant for Keiju to inhabit. Instantly, his looks improve. Rinne finds herself back in love with Keiju/Masaharu, but she's wracked with doubt and guilt about what she's just done.
From the Girl Got Game creator
Rinne Ito (female)
A high school girl who can see spirits. Her classmates think she’s a bit weird because she chases spirits, which of course they can’t see, with a harisen. She is certainly eccentric, but she is a kind and easygoing person.
Masaharu Uzaki
Rinne’s classmate. He’s a typical “bad boy”. He’s usually cranky and violent, but he can sometimes show a sweet side.
Keiju
He’s a god. He’s cheerful, extremely easygoing, sex obsessed, and flirtatious.
Praise for the creator's previous series, Girl Got Game
I would highly recommend getting this volume . . . as a matter of fact I would highly recommend getting the entire series. It is just sooo funny. It will have you rolling on the floor in fits of laughter.
