Kubota and Tokito decide to infiltrate a popular cult that preaches a return to a more animalistic level of humanity, hoping to pick up information on Wild Adapter and perhaps even Tokito's forgotten past. The yakuza are still hot on their tail, but there is a lot more to this new religion than just meditation and ritual chanting, and, once you join up, the only way out may be on a stretcher.
Although she is best known for her first hit, the 1997 series Saiyuki, Kazuya Minekura published many other manga such as Stigma and Wild Adapter before and during Saiyuki's run. Her current project is Saiyuki Reload, the continuing adventures of Genjyo and his motley tribe of misfits.

Oh, I can't wait for the next book in this series. This ranks right up there with Saiyuki...I just hope we don't have to wait as long for the next volume of Wild Adapter as we do for Saiyuki Reload.

I love this series more than I loved Saiyuki. I can't wait for Vol. 4 to come out.

This has actually been a very interesting series so far. I like the interaction between the characters, because the manga has more of a sweet closeness between the characters, rather than an obvious romance. Not to mention it seems to have a plot beyond that of 'humpz0r ur b0x0r' ^^;;
