Her work was titled Narushisuto No Higeki, roughly translated as 'the Tragedy of a narcissist.' Gravitation brought her her widest audience. Aside from the Gravitation manga, Ms. Murakami is also the artist for all of the Gravitation Remixes, a doujinshi series that follows the further relationship between Yuki and Shuichi. Ms. Murakami's newest project is Kimi no Unajini Kanpai!
Gravitation...the inexorable force of attraction that pulls two very different people together. The 12-volume romance of Yuki and Shuichi is a rollercoaster ride of broken hearts, betrayal and giant robot pandas, but it leaves off with our lovers fairly happy and settled. But, as to be expected, the course of true love never does run smooth. Between doe-eyed orphans, loony rock stars in bunny costumes, trans-sexual siblings and the general trauma of being an international singing sensation, Shuichi is in for another round of troubles, picking up right from where the first series leaves off. Maki Murakami’s art goes from sexy to hilarious in 0.001 seconds flat, which never fails to impress me. Yuki is hotness incarnate and Shuichi is pretty cute himself, but the two of them together mix funny and romantic incredibly well, and Yuki’s literal run-in with a vending machine towards the end of the book had me in stitches every time. It was super exciting to get to work on the English release of Gravitation EX before it was even out on shelves in Japan (I was getting revised pages from the Japanese publisher pretty much as Murakami-sensei was turning them in!), and I’m thrilled that audiences all over the world will get to enjoy this fantastic sequel series.

LOLLILOVER, you are wrong. Maki Murakami hasn't released even volume 2. TJust as we can see at sailorspazz's journal, the most recent Gravitation chapter is the 77 one and it was drawn in February. February, for godness sake! And all the chapters released until February are too short to gather them all into a book! Because you said things like that I've just finished searching through Japanese pages and all I have found was just volume one. If there was a 2, 3 and until 5, Tsutaya, I'm 100% sure, would have it.

You might never see volume two at this rate! Maki Murakami put Gravitation EX on hiatus after volume five, and to my knowledge has not yet started writing it again. Tokyopop, in their wisdom, decided not to release any more volumes so long as it was on hiatus. Personally, I would rather have had five volumes than one...

(apparently TP signs you out if you write comments questioning their marketing tactics...) So it seems that Sailorspazz is the goddess of Gravi scans, who knew? You can get the different 'mixes here http://gallery.yuki-eiri.com/ most of them are translated. And Sailorspazz has an update of track77 on her LJ, woot! So how is it that tokyopop finds it to be a good idea to rerelease the original Gravi in a 2-for-1 volume but they can't be bothered to translate volume 2 of EX?

i like its songs especially when shuichi is the one singing. but it kinda disappointing bec. shuichi is NOT a girl but its uniqueness came from there so its fine but i wish there will be some twist in his past life.

I loved this! I bought it on my birthday at Barnes and Noble! I really want to know when the next volume comes out. It's taking too long. I hope that she doesn't just stop it here...that would suck. She can't just make Yuki blind and leave it at that! And I want to know if Ryuichi is really interested in Shuichi!

OOOH, so somebody has written that Gravitation 2 is already out. I wish it were true, because, come to think of it, I read Gravitation Ex 1 SO many times that I know i by heart and I couldn't read it anymore even if I wanted toXD It's really the time for the second volume to be released.

There is a reason as to why the second volume hasn't been published yet. It isn't done. Maki murakami hasnt been drawing. She had left this project in hiatus for a while. She stopped around last year. Now recently i think Genzo comics are putting gravitation ex 2 scans in their site. I'm not too sure. I think Sailor spazz put a new chapter recently in her site. check out the link that "EIRIYUKICOOLNESS" put.

According to Wikipedia, Maki Murakami went on hiatus (stopped publishing monthly chapters in the magazine she is contracted too) in January 2008 and there is no clear date set for when she will start publishing again. There's probably not enough chapters published to warrant a whole other graphic novel yet...?
