I want to explain why Aria the continue of Aqua is: Aqua was released by the publisher Stencil first. But Kozue Amano, the Mangaka of it, wanted to change to the publisher Comic Blade and then the name changed from Aqua to Aria.

This series is absolutely golden and can do no wrong. Gentle, lyrical and beautiful! I wish TOKYOPOP would finish Aria as well since ADV tanked.
My opinon is that i kind of man its cool dudes>.>.

That peaceful, serene experience is something that sets Aqua and Aria apart from most other series. It's a terrific way to forget the stress of the workday. Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou is another series that has a pleasant atmosphere with fun stories. Maybe Tokyopop will pick that one up too. I'll definitly buy it if they do.

I read this!!!! it was pretty cool...story's lil bland but it does have that serene experience to it wen you read it
this book gives a lot of good backround which you don't see in many manga's I was suprised.
Considering the amount of good comments I have been pursuaded to buy this! Hope it's as good as what everyone says =]
Aqua 1 is great! Gives a lot of background that you don't get in the anime (which covers Aqua 1 here and there with slightly different versions of the mini-stories). For Chibiman: The Aria Manga (according to Wikipedia) was acquired by ADV Mange in 2003 and released only 3 volumes late that year and in early 2004. It's still in hiatus. Tokyopop obviously has the prequel Aqua

aria is the series after this. aqua is the prequel. I'm really glad this is coming out, aria is a favorate of mine. its so pretty! ^^

I personally haven't heard of the sequel to this or this title. It looks good though. Do you think they still sell the sequel to this manga? Or is it that old?

Ah! I was reading about this on Wikipedia a while ago and had forgotten the title. I'm glad Tokyo Pop has it!
Oh man it's here it's finally here. man i been waiting for ever for this to come to Tokyopop. I have the first three books and then i heard that they were stopping the series then i find out that tokyopop my 1 favorit manga publishers was picking it back up. So I would like to say thank you tokyopop for picking this up and I can't wait to read it. Thanks again -bluecat

you know, that logo looks like a shampoo bottle.
eveything was three-thumbs up for me when I got this manga. but i thought the front cover looked as if colour has been faded due to sunlight. oh well...still worthy book.
she looks wierd kinda,like caught in blinking,the title sounds better than ARIA though
I, for one don't really care that they changed the way the title looks. Now, I will agree that Akari-sans expression is strange....but really I don't want to complain. I'm just so thrilled that this title is finally available in America. Thank you soooo much TOKYOPOP!!!

I'm not sure what would posses you guys to rehash (and poorly, I might add) the cover title which was already in english to begin with. Cover sucks. October 9th, enjoy your AIDS.
It's great that AQUA is finally making it's way statestide. A very wonderful series indeed. Though I would have to agree though, the cover is horrendous.
I love that this beautiful series is making a comeback. One complaint I have, however, is the cover art. I wonder why the cover art was tweaked and the logo changed. AQUA is a really awesome manga - there are three all together, then you've got ARIA which was originally released by ADV but they stopped after the first three...and it's a continuing series I've gotten up to #10 on. I was so happy to see that it's going to finally be translated!! Yay!! This isn't a series that has a lot of action though - mostly just really beautiful illustrations and little life lessons. The two seasons of the anime blend AQUA and ARIA together - and I hope someone picks up that series soon as well! ^_^

Oh me too! I fell in love with the series Aria when it was released by ADV.. but unfortunately they canceled it. I'm soo glad you guys are rereleasing it!! Along with this, it's prequel Aqua. Thank you sooo much!! ^__^
