This manhwa is wonderful. I loved all of the stories, and the characters are all so unique. I can't wait to read the next one in August!

Hee Jung Park is one of the most well known manhwa-ga in South Korea. I like both manga and manhwa, but "Hotel Africa" is probably a good example of why I love manhwa more.

First, the title "Hotel Africa" made me think of a north African location for the story. Setting the manga in the Utah desert is a change. The desert areas of USA, the sun beats down, extremely in summer months. Not a place to be without an easy to access supply of water. The strong sunlight causes shadows to be hard black. The shade is the only place to escape the sun's heat.
