I sat in Borders one Saturday afternoon and read Benjamins' Graphic Novel, Orange. I thought the artwork was very painterly and graphic while the story was like some of the stuff from The Animatrix. Some parts I had to go over several times before I understood the image as it related to the text. But that's okay. Overall I'd say it's a successful endeavor. I also liked what he did for the pop singers' video and would really love to see him make a more in depth animated story completely drawn and illustrated by him. I know that would take forever, but think of how great it would look.

I have this book, just bought it and yes, it has full colour pages, exactly like you see above, and the book is actually a lot bigger than the other tokyopop titles. You can read the text perfectly in the book.

Wow. the artwork for this is really pretty. If I go and buy this, will it have the color pages? Humor me, I am new.

I wish there was a zoom button T.T i think it looks nice, i like the artwork. but these small letters are killers

Why the heck can't we zoom in? i'll admit the viewer has improved but there are still so many flaws. Go to marvel.com and see their online comic viewer...now that's nice to use.

I wish the words were bigger. I liked the color, but I couldn't tell where the storyline was going.

the text is really hard to read. hope that won't be the whole series. the art is awesome though. it's like oil painting on every page!

LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE so want to get and every one must buy. From the colors and the plot line that I could read it is some thing that must be picked up.

Not even the empty promise of love. Her head filled with morbid fantasies of suicide, Orange finds herself standing at the edge of her rooftop when the drunken, enigmatic young man, Dashu, enters her world...changing it forever...A heartbreaking tale of a young woman desperately trying to understand the bewildering world around her, brought to life by the luscious artwork of manga icon, Benjamin, Orange is a profoundly moving story of loss and redemption.
