one winter's after noon

I walked sluggishly down the path way in the neighbour hood park. I didn’t normally came home this was but I thought it might be a nice change of scenery for me instead of always seeing tall high rise buildings, a huge amount of different cars, old and new on the road and almost run into people a thousand times. I didn’t mind the hustle and bustle of Tokyo city, the largest city in Japan, but today. It felt as though the park was calling to me some how I didn’t know why or how it was calling out to me, but it was as though the thought of the park was drawing me closer and closer to it like being sucked into a black hole, deep in outer space.

It was a more windier and colder day then what we have been getting this week, I was wearing a few more layers of clothing then usual on. I had an extra long sleeve t-shirt underneath a flannelette shirt, an extra short sleeved t-shirt, my work cloths underneath all of that and I also had an extra woolly jumper on over the top. I was wearing a light pink fluffy scarf with gloves and warm trousers on. I had about three paries of bed socks on and I was still shivering slightly.

When I arrived at the park there was no one there it was like being in a ghost town except it wasn’t a ghost town, it was a ghost park. There was absolutely no one there, and I mean no one. It was as though it had been abandoned for years with out anyone trying to find it again. I walked down towards the big beautiful fountain that was placed in the centre of the park to be the main feature of the park. There was no water flowing though, it was frozen solid due to the freezing weather conditions here. I wondered why every one had left the park for. Was it because of some kind of criminal attacks that occurred here not to long ago? I took a break from walking and sat down on the bench that determined the perimeter of the fountain. I looked at the frozen water behind me and I saw my reflection in the ice’s mirror. I didn’t mind walking that extra ten minutes to come to the park. I didn’t plan anything special with my friends tonight and my mum and dad wear both working late tonight to it wouldn’t matter if I got home later then usual. I took a deep breath and let it out, I looked up at the grey cloudy sky and a sudden chilly breeze pass though, it wasn’t a strong one but it was enough to make me shiver.

Then, all of a sudden, out of the blue, little white dotes came floating down softly and silently down from the sky above me. I looked back up at the sky with a huge smile on my face. It was snow! For the first time in my life it saw snow! I rose from the bench that surrounded the frozen fountain and jumped around with joy in my heart.

I had never seen snow before falling from the sky. I had seen snow but only in photographs that my cosens send me and my family from Hakkone. It always snowed during the winter season. Now I can say to them instead of whishing to see snow, I had seen snow before, and not just in photographs.

It was coming down more heavily now and I wondered why this was the reason why everyone left the park early? Because it was about to snow! I caught a few spots of the white fluffy snow in my hands and looked at it closely. It would’ve been no bigger then the size of my thumb nail, but still, it was still big enough to hold with out it melting straight away in your hands. I held my hand up so it was level to my mouth and gently blew it away, setting it free from my grasp. I looked back up to the snowy sky and smiled one more time. For once in my life I could actually see the beautiful white frozen snow, falling from the cloudy sky and what a good place to see it for the first time, the park. I knew there was some kind of reason on why the park was calling to me, it was because it wanted to see the snow with me for the first time. The park must have felt lonely after everyone left before it began to snow. It kept calling and calling until someone answered its call. I was so lucky that I was able to hear that call and answer it I knew I just had to thank the park for calling me over to see the snow with it because if I had just went the normal route home in amongst the maze of buildings and people, then I would never have had this one chance to see snow for the first time, so I simply just said those kind words, I wasn’t saying it to anyone or anything in particular but I juste wanted to say thankyou  for allowing me to see this wonderful moment in my life

i was board so i typed this up which is what came to my head^^
