Immortal Rain has the action, pacing, and plot to keep anyone satisfied, but it's real charm is the artwork and the likable characters. the artwork is at first very clean and almost simple until you look at the eyes. the depth of the character's feelings are expressed through the beautifly rendered eyes. The artist is truly talented to get that much emotion expressed thru the artwork. The character's aren't just cool, but engaging and likeable, which is the most important element to have, I think.
