This manga ruined the book for me, Will's character especially. Find a library to read it because its not work the money.

I totally loved this book! When does the next one come out?
This book was incredibly disappointing. It isn't "manga-style" in the least. The art is gross and American comic-influenced. Will, who was supposed to be hot, looks like a girl. The artist put a lot of emphasis into bulging butts, lips, and boobs. The details are harsh and realistic and there are no Japanese manga moments, such as super-deformed characters or comical backgrounds. The storyline is weak and there is hardly any text. The entire first chapter is just a recap of the book. When I heard Meg Cabot was writing manga, I was excited and read the novel Avalon High just so I could read the manga. But I wouldn't waste your money on this. If you want to read it, I suggest going to a bookstore and reading it because it takes only up to fifteen minutes and is so not worth the price. ~ A-Chan

I ADORE Meg Cabot. I own all her books and eagerly anticipate her new ones, but none stay as close to my heart as Avalon High. I cannot rate both this manga or the original novel highly enough. A MUST READ. Go buy it and start your Cabot Craze today.

So...I wonder if Morgan is going to be the reincarnation of Morgan le Fay, Arthur's sorceress half-sister or perhaps, in playing with the whole name-doesn't-matter theme, or Viviane who was the original Lady of the Lake who learns her magic from Merlin, makes him fall in love with her, and locks him in a cave. It'd be a bit gross if she's based off of Morgan le Fay since that would mean the reincarnations of Arthur's half-brother and half-sister were going out and kissing. Since they aren't related in the current time, though, I suppose it's not so bad...though Morgan le Fay didn't attempt to overthrow Arthur from what I know. She just got in trouble for adultry.

Just to let you know that date is for the United Kingdom, so hopefully in the US will get it a little sooner or around that time. Oh yeah In the United Kingdom also, Jinx will come out as a manga on May 2, 2008.
According to Meg Cabot's website the second book will come out on July 1, 2008.
It's great that Meg's amazing stories are now turning into manga... I'm a big fan of hers. Next should be Stephenie Meyer's Twilight series -- they've got an amazing storyline and characters!

it was too short!!! i listened to the novel in like 3 days and i LOVED it, but when i read the manga, it was good, but she spent one 3rd of it reviewing the novel and the book itself can't afford that with it only having 128 pages! not, saying u shouldn't read it (it's really good), but come on!
i have never read it, but i would like to read it though. I'll look for it, since i dont like buying things on the net.

i love this book. I fell in love with the first one and when I heard that Avalon High 2 was coming out,I just had to have it. I have also heard that there will be a third one soon so I am so excited to get it.
the actual novel was good and the manga will be great! need to get it first...
man when i read avalon high book i love it so much that i read it one full day until 3:00!!!!! She did an amazing job with that book and then when i heard she was making an anime out of it,....i was so excited!!!

Meg Cabot is AWESOME! I reccomend reading her Mediator series. I have to admit that it does start out slow, but it gets really good! i want to read this book(the novel)

i've never read any of her books, but attempted to read her book Haunted, but it was soooo boring to me
im glad its different from the novel because then it shows to differnet ways things could have gone.
