Still, nothing compares to the life of a warrior! With a new kittypet ally, Millie, by his side, will Graystripe ever find his way back to the Clan?

I've always been interested in adapting a story to different media and formats. Whether it's a book to a movie, a comic to a movie, or in this case, a book to a comic, each new incarnation presents different problems and opportunities. So of course, I leaped at the chance to edit one of our first co-published projects with HarperCollins. And I have to say, it's been an adventure and a pleasure. The Warriors is one of the top children's series out there, chronicling the legend of several rival clans of cats and their struggle to survive on the fringes of human civilization. Over the course of the series, the characters age and grow, accept new responsibility and face serious obstacles and tragedy. Creating a manga that captures the spirit of these wonderful novels, but still adds something new to the world of Thunderclan was a real challenge.
Fortunately for me, my editorial counterpart at Harper is amazing and the rest of the creative team is top-notch. Erin Hunter, the original creator of the property, was incredibly supportive and enthusiastic about every step of the process. The team of James L. Barry on art and Dan Jolley on story really brought this terrific concept to life. Balancing the necessary realism—including the level of detail that Erin imparts to cat behavior and the world of the clans—with a manga sensibility was a lot of fun, and I'm thrilled with the result!
We present to you loyal readers a spin-off story that explores the fate of a beloved character who had disappeared from the novels series about halfway through, and whose fate had been left uncertain...until now!
Our tale starts with Graystripe, second in command of Thunderclan, several months after his capture, and we discover that he has been living with a Twoleg family as a kittypet. His wild instincts are being dulled by his easy life, but the pull to find his clan and rejoin his comrades is strong, and so a decision must be made, and a quest begun!

I like these books very very much!!!! But I am from Russia and I can't buy them in shops - our publishing house "Olma-PRESS" doesn't translate them in Russia. I am forced to look for these manga-books in Internet. But there is a little of pages from comics in I-net. Mmm... Maybe anybody may to scan own manga-books and send to me? This is soooo cool. I love this series and it is great that they made a manga so not only the manga fans can learn about it, but so the already-fans can connect the 2 loves of Warriors and manga together!

I'm like the only one besides my friend Jasmine who reads the series.They r the best animal series ever.Something also for Cat Crazed fanatics(Meeeee!:-) )..A manga should also be made with settings in other clans.Im a windclan member.
I wish these mangas were longer.They are good though.U should also make all the chapter books into mangas.Awesome drawings too!!

Erin Hunter is three girls, no males there. I read all the first series a long time ago and I have one book left of the second series....I've been procrastinating though.

I love Erin Hunter books. I'm on the fifth book, A Dangerous Path. My sister already read all of them including the new prophecy ones, and she's on firestar's quest right now. I LOVE WARRIORS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
I love reading erin hunter and the book is great
this book is awsome just like all of the other books in this series. i've read every book accept the second in the third series. i can't wait to see what happens to hollypay, lionpaw, and my favorite jaypaw.

I've read every one of the warrior series i'm waiting for the 2nd book of the third prophecy i love these books and i cant wait till the next one comes out in the novels and manga these books are great but i feel bad for graystripe when silverstream dies and then feathertail dies too...... but then im happy when graystripe comes back to thunderclan and gets reunited with his last family member Stormfur........... OH and i ant believe squirllefight almost left brambleclaw for that jealous idiot ashfur he is so dumb and brambleclaw and squirlleflight are so cute together i felt so bad for Jaypaw
i've read every one of the warrior series i'm almost through with the new prophecy and going to be onto the third series she has started writing....i'm excited to start reading about what happened with graystripe though and can't imagine him ever abandoning him warrior ways for a kittypet life.

I love this book! I heard Warriors Refuge is a little thicker than this one. but I highly recommend this book.

This book is just so fun to read. Different from your average "Warriors" book. Graystripe is one of my favorite characters from the saga, and having a few manga books for his adventures is awesome. Can't wait for the next book.
