I loved this anime; I love the story line, but I would very much like to continue on the main plot, as I have a lot of questions that need answering. Unfortunately, I have to wait for a long time for the English translations to catch up to the 19 novels in Japanese, as I am not able to read Japanese. Anyways, this series is well worth it, especially if you've never read the manga or watched the anime. But, I'm so anxious for the storyline to continue. I have too many questions I want answered. I'm pretty sure a lot of people are in agreement with me, as you will see in a lot of forums. *waits impatiently for the next novels to catch up so I can buy the novels to continue the main plot*

It's about freak'n time is all I can say I only own up to Continuing On My Own which is the 8th or 9th arch in the series so I seriously can not wait for them to catch up.

This is a great short novel. There are a few illustrations, but nothing like a manga. The story follows the movie, but with different details. If you know the movie, you'll have an idea of how the story is going to go but you should still enjoy the book because it puts things in a different perspective. Over all, it's very enjoyable! I can't wait till January for Volume 2! -MK
It's a light novel. It's like any novel, but ith manga-style illustrations. Suzumiya Haruhi is a light novel too. I have it and volume 2 in japanese. >.>
It says it's a novel. I heard that the novel actually came before the anime so it should be interesting to see what the original's like. I love the humour that comes from how strange Sousuke is out of context.
Is this the actual novel or another manga? Want to know before buying.

This is one of the best anime's ever made, the reason why I like this anime alot is because of the comedy and a great storyline. Also if you ever see the anime pay close attention to Kaname and Tessa about how they think about Sousuke.
