I have been following the .Hack trilogies from day 1. I'd have to say GU had the best games so far :). The manga is pretty cool, I just wish Haseo still had his 33d form Armor >.>

This story is AMAZING! You get a taste of what the basic idea from the others was like, yet it's completely different! I can't wait to read the rest. It's so exciting to see what will happen next in The World.

I swear to bob! if .Hack//gu+ wasn't around, i'd die. I think that the entire .Hack series is like, such a diverse genre from the idea itself down to the different use of character, espiecally in Anime. Congrats .Hack with the new series, it's more than unique, and gonna be a best seller!
This story is the most unique out of all of them. It's completely different from it's predecessors and it's wonderful. Nice new story line.

i forgot to say my fav thing bout .hack! i guess wut i would say my fav thing about it would have to be is the music. i like the main story line too. i think its pretty cool that they came up with an idea like that for a show. i also like the characters. they're really interesting. i guess i kinda like everything about it!
i dont have any of the mangas but ive watched the first dvd set and will soon be watching the second. i really love the show alot. its one of the main shows i like to watch. i would really like to read the mangs too. overall, i rate it one of the top shows n probly one of the top mangas too.

Having watched .hack//roots and played the G.U. games, I can't wait to read //G.U.+. Judging by the sample pages, the manga looks really interesting. The art perfectly captures Haseo's emotions through his expressions, and you can easily sense his desperation to save Shino. I'll be sure to buy it as soon as possible!
Another .hack manga which only adds to the overall amazingness of the series. I loved //Twilight, //AI Buster, and //Another Birth, and //G.U.+ is another one to add to my list of loves. .hack is by far my favorite series out there. It is a must read for any and everyone!

Absolutely a must have read! Too cool for school.. Watching the original got me hooked! Then I couldnt help but read it again and again. The details involved in drawing and writing this brill manga is fabulous and i love it personally when people ask which is your favourite character i just have to say they all are but Kita and Orca are just exceptional. My parents are against me watching, reading or drawing manga/anime but i am just hooked. They have calmed down now i am 17 but they still say that it is for babies to watch. I have defended anime/manga and now i am posting a review on one of my favourites since this began .hack// love it!!! xx
I love the .Hack books, i don't realy see them in the bookshops much tho. i buy then any chance i get! the storys are great, sadly i don't have the games. but i have the anime and the manga and the novels!
Ill tell you the first thing that caught me on .hack was the music. Then the game play got me. Now there is GU the graphics are To vivid for words and the story is like wow. also there are so many ppl to meet on it like ppl who play it as RP or ppl that play it in spare time... I suggest watching roots and then play the game and then read it because you can notice all the differnt details. But as you look through the book it does have good graphics it self and catches Haseo's side after Shino was comatise by the bad guy. (virus) But i dont see Kite as a bad person at all, besides Kita, Orca, and Balmung all Promised to rid [The World] of anomolys and Ovan was there at the Catherdal and i think Kitte was after Ovan. You know whats under the arm guard... I figured this out because i saw a Youtube video of when Haseo fought with Kite and the person typed what Kite was saying and opened my eyes to another reason... Though some of it was foolish but it made sense... TORUHONDA16 yes tri edge has a connection with Ovan. Scarletmeteor: I freaken agree with you i hate those Cliffhangers it makes me wanna throw my pillow through my window (safty glass) lol One last thing, (dont read unless small misundertude spoiler) Why did Ovan have to go?!?!?!?! *crying* he's my favorite charater.. maybe the next .hack may save him...
I've always liked .hack// things because I liked the idea of a world you could actually go into. I would love to actually *be* the character I play. Of course I would be terrified if there were player killers going around. I think this is an interesting twist on the .hack story. I don't know too much about it as I haven't been able to watch much of any .hack but what I have seen I've really enjoyed. Oh, how I despise these cliffhangers!
i wonder why Ovan disappeared and left Haseo...also he disappeared along with Shino...somethings going on here..hmmm...maybe Ovan knows a WHOLE lot more on Shino disappearing or MAYBE Ovan has connections with Tri-Edge in some ways??? too many questions...I REALLY need to buy the book this saturday!!!!!
It's great that there is a manga that mirrors the .Hack//G.U. game. It makes it so much easier and quicker to try and get through the series all at once. The .hack series have always been the type to throw in new scenerios while still retaining the basic coma victims which the protagonist is forced to find the way to fix. The coma victims have ranged from the sister/best friend from .hack//Legend of Twilight and the original .hack games respentively to even the main character as it was in .hack//Sign. It always amazes me when a new series comes out because it's just begging to be read and noticed. 'The World' seems to be so real, in the sense, that people can be who they want to be. They can explore the world with no restraints, whatsoever. And the fact that this series's Tri-Edge looks exactly like a certain character, begs for many questions to be answered.
I agree with illeander, this sounds like a good manga, i just have to find the time to watch the anime but it looks intersting, cant wait to buy.
The preview ends at a really bad place... good for advertising and building up suspense, but horrible for me, the one who is being suspended in a dark room full of possibility. .Hack//G.U. has an amazing plot. I like that it is exploring the existence of player killers. That aspect of the World was present in the previous series. I hope I will get the chance to read it.

Soren i hate to break it to you but Endrance is Elk.... Poor Saku though, liking Endrance and all XD. Anyway, I have beening in .hack Infection at first time i had rented the game at blockbuster... but i was to afrain and not that quick on my feet when i was 5 (im 14 atm) so i had played it but still liked it. Then later when i was 10 i had saw a trailer of the game on youtube. later 3 years from then my friend had brought the Gu volume 1 game to my house (i didnt know it was out) and i started playing it. When i was trying to find out when the next onews come out i was using the magazine Shonen jump sent to me and looked at Ads. Anyway, i had Finished the GU series and thought of getting the original games... I got the manga and novels too. I was planing to read, watch, and play them in order and im still on it atm.(.hack//Outbreak I suck at being Kite =p had hard time beating magus lol.... but as i went through some of these... I notice that THE TRUE MEANING OF GU means (yall been wanting to know the truth dont ya?) Well, IT mean Generation Up (too simple Since a generation is 7-10 years so.) but im getting way to ahead of myself. Oh ya sorry if to long of a comment and sorry if im repeating myself ^o^ lol

I've been on a long mission to keep up with the .hack series. From the video games and anime to the novels and manga, I try so hard to keep up. I love it when I see something new and put two and two together. Its like a huge thrill for me. I seriously dont know what else to do when there's .hack in my life, I read it, watch it, play it. It's almost like an obsession. I cant wait to read all the books to come and the rest of the series!

I LOVE THE NOVEL"S OF .Hack it so out there, because like it mentions in the boook that GU+ and another birth is based off the Game on how unusally it is, like it. I Know like everything there is to know about .hack. Go ahead as me any question about it. I will answer with 99% right. Ask Haseo's real name. Ask me How many forms is shown in the Episodes of Roots. Ask me anything. This is the never ending story of the Twilight(note: Ovan and Shugo say this. and if Ovan says it it outta be true. my favorite Character is Ovan. Heck ill make my Summer project to make an Ovan suit with a Robotic arm. He is my favorite Charater because he always smiles even in mortal danger. His plan is always in motion. Im not going in more detail about Ovan so i dont spoil.) and i am trying my best to get my manga friends and my friends to start on .hack. Man my mind may be hurting today..... I am Insane about it porbiable. Dont think less of me but im planning to make a Rogue on WoW and name him Ovan with my friend and his name is Haseo i think. Man, its almost close to school time... i cant stop typing on how great it is..... Oh ya If Tokyopop, Bandai, or Cc2 ships out a new .hack plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz tell me.....

There have been many .hack// books but this is probably by far the best yet! I LOVE IT!!! Hopefully, it can keep entertaining me for a while. It's really too bad there are only 3 books. Makes me want to cry! TT-TT
.HACK SERIES ROCKS MY SHOES!! (literally) When I first read the series, I was instantly absorbed into the plot. I like how there is a different piece of mystery in every story..Hack//G.U. does not disappoint me either. The artwork was fabulous l! Actions scenes in every angle. I love it! I promise you, you won't be bored with this one! Who would thought that I would be sucked into it like I was in their World? I even play the games, watch the series,went manga hunting... you name it. I was there when it all happened.I like it so much that I am going to cosplay on one of the characters on my next convention. Guess who? =D

Their are some comparative scene in the book to the game but also have different scene from the book to the game which is still cool. i really like this manga. One of my favorite manga on tokyopop along with Chobits, Suikoden and the rest that are way too many of them.

Man I just love the .hack series all of them. Its so breath taking!!!! The drawings are amazing. The game graphics are so wicked awesome!!!!! I just love .hack!!!! I used to wake up early just to watch it!!!! The anime is simple amazing and I cant get enough. I would one day like to be able to draw like that one day and I'm working on it every day!!!!!
I just bought the .Hack//G.U.+ book today and I have to say I am in no way disappointed with what I read. The artwork was absolutely outstanding and the ending left me at a point in which I'm bound to buy the next book when it comes out. The story plot, so far, hasn't fail to astound me and I anxiously await when volume 2 comes out. I am sure to be one of the firsts to buy it once it's in bookstores here.
