Twilit (chp 3)
Twilit Chapter 3
I awoke feeling nothing but pain, I couldn't move, my body felt as if would melt right of my bones. I couldn't breath or cry or scream i was just here, unable to move, speak, cry. The only thing i was able to do was feel pain and exist in a black room. Was I in hell? I didn't know. I couldn't tell if it were night or day. I never was able to remember my human name the only thing I ever remembered was his face, his voice, his eyes... isn't it sad? I have no real memories of my human life, just what others have told me... but i remember him.
Minutes... hours... days....weeks...months...years could have passed.. i have no clue, all I know was that I was losing my sanity with thought in my soul.. I'm not sure if I had a body or not anymore.. I was just a thought in blackness... I seemed to grow colder and colder.. the pain never stopped... it would dull for a little bit then fire back and his face would appear over and over.... I hated him. If I could have cried I probably would have screamed too. I don't know how long I was in my personal hell but I didn't know how much longer I could have taken it. I started to feel weak and thirsty something that had never happen before I wonder how long this could really go on.
" Child?" a voice rang out into the darkness... I've heard that voice but I couldn't remember who."Child you have to awaken.. open your eyes"
I felt completely at ease as if I was slowly awaken from a dream. A bright Violent light flashed and I closed my eyes... wait I thought to my self... I had a body again. I opened my eyes again and realized I was in a room with a man..... with black eyes and I suddenly remembered him and watched my death all over again I gasped and my voice trembled as I tried to speak... I had never heard this voice before it was foreign and magical. " Who are you?" my strange voice whispered. " Your king and Father," he picked me up and held me up in front of a mirror,"And this is your new body and life." He whispered into my ear.
I was like him, My eyes were an emptiness of black... I had straight silver hair that touched my shoulders... light Grey skin and beautiful black wings that tucked close to my back... I felt so weak like a newborn child, I couldn't hold up my head and could barely move my new fingers and toes. Apparently I could make facial expressions because " Father" started laughing at me while i was trying to move." Don't worry," he told me," You won't completely be able to move yet since your new to moving into new bodies... but don't worry you won't need to transfer into a body for awhile." his word didn't make sense but I felt completely comfortable around him. he laid me back in the bed and told me to rest and left.
The next time I awoke a strange woman was in the room.. she was like me and "Father" she had a leash and a regular human girl who looked about 15 years old laying limp on the floor she picked her up and threw her on the bed. "Feed" she commanded coldly. " Excuse me?" "You expect me to eat someone?" I questioned. The woman sighed," No stupid you don't eat flesh feed of her life force." " I'm sorry I don't quite understand what you mean." She gave me a cold glare walked over grabbed the girl's face and kissed her.. at least that's what I had thought.
A bright pink light flared out of the body and sucked into the woman's mouth, she released her and the remaining pink absorbed back into the body. " Like that." I was so nervous as I slowly leaned over the body and I let my hair fall her pretty face as I leaned in and touched her lips. Pink Light flooded into my mouth and it made a terrible sucking noise and ran down my throat.. it was warm and thick like blood. I could hear her heat beat go faster then it slowly began to dropped till it stopped and the pink life Disappearing making my throat feel cold as ice again.
"I haven't seen a shadow kill the life while feeding for their first time in a long time." A voice rang out from the mirror. and a black figure pulled itself out from the mirror, it formed into "Father". The Woman quickly bowed, then got up and dragged the body out of the room. I bowed my head in shame," I-I-I'm sorry" I whispered. He started laughing at me," No no, its not a bad thing... it shows your power... you need energy to maintain your powers." It really didn't make much sense and I couldn't piece everything together.
" What am I? You? Us?" I questioned. He looked at me and said,"Well thats quite a story you sure you want to know?" I could only shake my head yes.
