Illustrations: FACING THE THREAT

Random drawing I did on the first page of a new art pad. Used Strathmore 400 series drawing paper that's just a little bit bigger than my scanner bed and my three Koh-I-Noor RapidoSketch pens to ink. Also dipped a Q-tip in my ink to fill in the bulk of the black spaces. Had to bust out the deleter fluid to get rid of a spot where the ink wasn't quite dry when I was handling it and smudged, but it cleaned up nicely. Sig added in OpenCanvas since it looks pretier than what photoshop does...

Been laid up with a cold so I have some catching up to do - here goes:   On the set of an "alien" film, they stage a brain-bursting scene for me; great fun. I fall out with a ponytailed guy at the beach - his parting shot is to splash some sort of molten metal (mercury?) in my face. *sigh* All I can say is that... he wasn't supposed to be a rockstar.... T-T I wanted to make him look more like a ninja, his clothes more camoflauged (so cant spell), his hair darker, and his sword more metallic looking. But in the process of making his hair more "uniform" as I called it, I made it... i dunno, poofy? that gave him a (TO ME) mad rockstar look. So there's the explination behind the title.
