Momiji is my favorite character from Fruits Basket. He is the rabbit from the Chinese zodiac. He's had a hard life, but somehow he manages to get through it all. I feel sorry for him though, because he didn't get the girl he loved. And they made such a cute couple...

Kagura is the boar of the zodiac. She loves Kyou, and tends to express her feelings for him in *different* ways than most girls. Kagura claims to love everything avout Kyou, but is that really true...? o_O

Shigure is one of the oldest Soumas, along with his childhood friends Hatori and Ayame Souma. Shigure can be a "bit" perverted sometimes, but he's just kind of immature. He is in love with Akito Souma, but he also seems to have an interest in high school girls. ^_^

Kureno is kept away from the other zodiac members most of the time, and only sees them on New Year's. The one time he was able to go to a convienience store, he met Uo-chan, and they fell in love. He is very polite and can be somewhat scatterbrained, kind of like Toru. You rock Kureno!!!

Ritsu has low self-esteem, and apologizes for anything he thinks he did wrong. He dresses in women's clothing, because he feels like he doesn't have to be as assertive. He really is a nice guy, but he doesn't think he has a purpse in life.

Hiro is the more stubborn one of the group, and he is prone to jealousy. He is the sheep of the zodiac. Hiro loves Kisa, but when Hiro told Akito, Akito hurt Kisa. After that incident, Hiro kept his distance from Kisa to protect her. When the kids at her school were picking on Kisa, there was nothing Hiro could do for fear of being too close to her. He told himself that he loved her, though, and he did...

Rin and Haru were together for awhile, but (*sigh*) Akito found out that they were together and... pushed Rin out of a window. Rin was hospitalized and, during that time, she broke up with Hatsuharu (to protect him) without telling him why. ='(

The snake from the zodiac and one of the most hilarious characters in Furuba (in my opinion). His best friends, and the people he grew up with, are Hatori and Shigure Souma. Ayame seems to listen to nobody but Hatori. He wants to get closer to his brother, Yuki, and close the gap that formed between them.

Hatori is the dragon of the zodiac. He is lso the Souma family doctor. He fell in love with Kana Souma, but Akito (of course) refused to let them marry. She nearly blinded Hatori in one of his eyes, and Kana blamed herself. It tore her up inside until, for her sake, Hatori wiped her memory. Kana forgot about her engagement to Hatori and eventually fell in love with someone else, and she married him. Poor Hatori...

Kisa is the tiger from the zodiac, and she is an extremely cute, shy person. Hiro, the sheep, is in love with her. When Akito found out, she hurt Kisa. When Kisa was getting made fun of at school, Hiro wouldn't help her because he was afraid to get to close to her for Kisa's safety. But, of course, he still loved her. HOW ADORABLE!!!
