This is a preview for the project I'm currently working on with my writer, Rachel Manija Brown, called "Spindrift." It's a 48-page comic, manga, or whatever you want to call it, that we're self-publishing like we did "Project Blue Rose" to sell at this year's A-Kon in early June, and by mail. So. Meet Manoj, on the left with the smirk, and Rinchen, on the right, who's not entirely happy with something about this entire situation. I'm currently in the thumbnailing stage of the book, and felt the need to stop drawing panels and stick figures and do something with the characters instead, so I did this. Drawn in OMG ACTUAL PENCIL! and inked in OMG ACTUAL INK! using Microns, then scanned in, the blacks filled in, and the page cleaned up in Photoshop
