“Wait up! Wait up! Oh come on! Im old! I cant run that fast, slow down!”

I laughed to myself as he ran to catch up.

Okay so I should probably explain what’s going on in my life now. Me and my dad have sorted out our ‘issues’. Well, to some extent. He knows I cant entirely forgive him for what he’s done and he understands why. But we’ve kind of gotten to the stage where he’s actually acting like a real dad and we talk about things. He managed to get himself some help. So now he was going to therapy for anger management problems. I had gone to a therapist for all the mental and physical suffering I had endured over the last however many years.
Everything is getting back on track.
It has been 1 whole year since all this has happened which means im now 17.
Sometimes I still cant believe that a whole year has passed.
Me and Jace are still together. Which also means that me and him have been together for a whole year. Which again, is sometimes so unbelievable. But then, other times it seems like the most believable thing in the world.
We were both happy very happy, everything had been going so well.
And that was who was calling me now.
We had just finished school. This was the last week so we weren’t doing much work. And I can safely say that that made us both incredibly happy! It also meant that we had very little, or in some cases no homework, to complete.
Which meant that, oh so conveniently, that we could hang out for longer tonight. I say this is convenient as we have a concert to go to tonight. A very interesting concert. Okay so when I way interesting, I also mean gut-wrenching, painfully nervous, incredibly scary concert.
Because I was playing.
Did I forget to tell you that I had joined a band.
Oh well, now you know.
So yeah, things are going well.
Except one thing.
I got a letter today.
Do you want to know what it said? Yeah well so do I. But I’m kind of scared.

Because it’s from my mum!
