Meet the Bad@$$ Women of Knockouts!

We got help from some amazing actresses and professional stuntwomen to make the Knockouts Concept Trailer. These women punched and kicked each other, were flipped off of a bar, and had bottles broken over their heads! They put their bodies on the line to bring the vision of our director, Leo Kei Angelos, to life, and we all had fun creating this action-packed video. Watch the Knockouts Concept Trailer, and then find out more about the awesome women who made it below.

Kristen Brancaccio is film's version of a triple-threat: actor, writer and director. "Day One", a post-apocalyptic short Kristen starred in, wrote and co-directed with our own Leo Kei Angelos, was a Top 10 finalist in HBO's Project Greenlight competition. She is a regular cast member on the hit webseries, "The Key of Awesome" (notable roles include playing Lorde in their "Royals" parody with 15 million+ views on YouTube and portraying Hermione in a Harry Potter spoof that HuffPost called "cathartic"). She wrote, directed and starred in "Intern Diaries", a comedic webseries for barelypolitical's second channel, that has amassed nearly half a million views. Besides acting and filmmaking, Kristen enjoys traveling, watching The Walking Dead and snowboarding.

Carrie Lynn Certa is not the typical action star, but in 2011, she won Best Lead Actress in the action-comedy ”Plain Jen,” awarded by the Accolade Competition. Ms. Certa has been acting in various theater, TV and film projects for over 2 decades. She is better known in the industry for her producing, but continues with her first love of acting whenever the opportunity arises.  Being able to play such a fun character as Helen, where she is able to “let it all hang out” and flaunt her curves, is definitely one of her favorite roles.
